This detached bungalow loft conversion in Sidmouth was created for partial separate living accommodation. The parents could remain to the ground floor, with a Daughter living providing all with space of their own but added benefits of living under one roof.
Our architect drew up plans and obtained planning permission along with building regulation approval.
When all council certificates were in place construction commenced. The project was a lounge room with staircase from converted garden room to the rear of the property. Lounge benefited from a galley landing area. Leading off from this room was a full size master bedroom. And finally a shower/bathroom. A “setback” flat roof dormer to the rear increased the useable area along with additional light from velux roof windows.
All works were completed within a six week timescale and on budget with no hidden extras.
Mr & Mrs G and their Daughter now have a property that can adapt to their needs and loved the complete conversion. They continue to “sing our praises”.
