Directors, Denise & Chris plan to run at least a mile-a-day for the whole of 2017 to raise funds for Taunton & District Mencap. The challenge is called a “running streak”. Definition being, run at least one continuous mile within each calendar day under one’s own body power
Sounds easy right! Please could you donate any amount possible here, thank you.
Two Bedrooms & Shower-Room to Attic Space
Two Bedrooms & Shower-room to Attic Space
Mr & Mrs L’s bungalow in Somerset had been in the family for a number of years. For various reasons they required a complete redesign of the property, mainly to accommodate two separate bedrooms to the roof space with shared bathroom facilities.
After our initial meeting we confirmed in writing a fixed price quotation along with a scheme drawing showing one suggestion of what could be achieved. We designed a full size flat roof dormer to the rear elevation along with roof windows to the front. Two bedrooms would be created along with the option of a shared shower-room.
Our client increased the scope of works to include removing walls to hall, separated w.c./bathroom and opening up the kitchen and not least the re-plastering of most of the ground floor. All items were quoted for so client was fully aware of prices and a fixed price contract was agreed.
Planning and building regulation were obtained prior to commencement of works.
All work was carried out to our schedule of works along with liaising with our client other contractors.
End result as quoted “Overall tremendously impressed.”
