Modern Mid-Terrace House

Mrs A. contacted us initially to see if the type of roof on her property was convertible. It was a “truss roof” type of roof on a new’ish property. A Modern Mid-Terrace House. Well truss roofs hold no problems in us converting them. Other issues can sometimes prevent conversion. Such as the overall height of roof and how we can position the new stairs.
Initial survey confirmed the roof was high enough and we could position new stairs on thee existing landing with some minor changes. Quotation was drafted along with a scale plan of a bedroom with an en-suite. Feature roof windows would light the room as well as take in the magnificent views. The new staircase was situated above the existing staircase area. A roof window was added to the landing area to afford natural light to new stairs and below.
Having agreed final details the build was started by accessing the roof via a scaffold to minimize disruption. Build was completed within five weeks and the new room creates a fabulous master bedroom with en-suite.
